illy Espresso Classic Roast Ground Coffee
Classic roast coffee has a lingering sweetness and delicate notes of caramel, orange blossom and jasmine.
A delightful espresso: the eyes sense it first. Thick, unbroken hazelnut-hued crema – that light-brown layer on top – painted by tiger stripes, darker brown. Next, aromas bring a sweet and complex tease, full with notes of chocolate, toast, honey and caramel. Telling taste: "Here is something special." Finally, the sip. Sweet, velvety, full bodied – a passing hint of bitter: here, then gone.
Prep & usage
Brewed or Filtered Coffee: Use 7-8 grams (about a tablespoon) of ground coffee for about every 100-150ml of water. The amount of coffee can be adjusted to your taste, or to the machine manufacturer’s recommendations.
Cafetiere or French Press: To enjoy an excellent cup of coffee, add a heaping tablespoon (7-8 grams) of coffee to the pot per 200ml of water.
