Celebrate International Women's Day Q&A

In honour of International Women's Day, we're taking a moment to celebrate a few special women (of many) at Wonder & Awe.
From our product specialist extraordinaire Rachell to our warehouse Wonder Woman Tara, here's their thoughts on what women mean in the workplace.

Q: What does International Women's Day mean to you?
R: It is a day to celebrate all the women in my life

Q: What qualities do you feel women bring to the workplace?
R: Women are capable to bring strength with compassion. They are the backbone of the company, just as they are at home.

Q: How can businesses encourage more women entrepreneurs and leaders?
R: The beauty of women leaders is that they give their people a voice to share their personal needs, they are open to new ideas and opinions, and this allows for growth and better work performance from both parties.

Q: Which woman inspires you, either in business or in life?
R: I find it hard to choose just one woman as so many have inspired me in different ways and phases of life that made me the woman I am today.

Q: What advice would you offer young women of today?
R: To know the balance of strength and compassion whether at the workplace or at home.

Q: What does International Women's Day mean to you?
T: International Women's Day is for me to acknowledge and honor all women around the world.

Q: What qualities do you feel women bring to the workplace?
T: Positivity, good communication, empathy and compassion. We deal with tough situations but still with a smile on our faces.

Q: How can businesses encourage more women entrepreneurs and leaders?
T: Celebrate one another's success, share our knowledge and equality.

Q: Which woman inspires you, either in business or in life?
T: A woman who inspires me is a very good friend of mine Anna. She's an amazing mother, businesswoman and friend. She is so positive and has encouraged me to do things, push myself and have confidence. She always gives me the best advice and is full of love.

Q: What advice would you offer young women of today?
T: Follow your dreams, look forward, be strong, waste time wisely and not your self-worth.
